The chronology that matters is the one that lasts forever or almost, the idea that a place of commerce and learning can convene with the purpose of survival and decency and engagement rather than with the desperate need for growth and efficiency and dominance.

Which is to say there is still space to be made in the clearing of ideas where we all gather, become stakeholders in time.
