We are not machines.  We are creative beings.

–Charles Davies.

A successful career–and an enjoyable workday–means interfacing with human beings.

Many of us do technical work.  We all work on computers much of the day.  We think human beings interface as do machines, think we can text or chat our way through life.

But then it is time to be a person around other people, to talk to your boss about expectations or banter with friends or speak to a crush.

Let’s practice the tough conversations you avoid.

Let’s work through the interactions your human self struggles to enjoy.

Let’s get better at empathy, vulnerability, self-deprecation and how the world recognizes us.

Let’s work to understand the drama we imagine ourselves trapped in and how to pick up

We meet eight times over the course of four months. Three times in one month, once in the next, and repeat.
