Standard Dog Points are running along a bike, standard Cat Points doing the Cheshire thing in a window or walking some place perilous. 

From what Molly can tell, some people are dog people and some people are cat people and some people pretend to be both cat and dog people and it is not entirely clear if these people can be trusted. 

And Molly can hardly tell you how much work goes into dealing with the the CAC (Cat Action Committee) complaining about points awarded sloppily to dogs or responding to this sort of message:
